EASTER 2020

I don't even know what my Easter this year will look like. It may just be my hubby and I sharing a meal together.

Whatever it brings, we all need the hope of spring and newness of life!

I have been busy sewing all my new bunny and spring fabrics so you can pick out something fresh and new for your Cabby Doll.

At adorabledolldesigns I love all things hooded. It reminds me of when my husband used to bundle up our daughter. These have been a favorite so I made new ones this season.

For some reason, all my pictures disappeared so I will try again! They will all be grouped together.

If you are looking for something for easter that is not a bunny theme:

The great gift of Easter is hope!

Ebay / Etsy / Amazon Handmade

I started selling on Ebay on January 31,2002. The first thing I made was an embroidered patriotic star denim jacket. I wish I still had a picture of that! I decided that if it sold, I would list two more things. it sold right away! I started I was sewing two things for every one thing that I sold. Everything was handmade by me. Snowsuits were my top seller that year. Soon, I had an e-bay store. I was busy for many years. I started slowing down when I had to start saying "18 doll clothes" instead of using the brand of the doll that I was selling for. I believe that hurt my business because when people would search by brand name, they would not find me. The difficult thing was other people selling handmade clothes were still using the brand name (and still do) while I had my listings pulled. This year, things slowed down so much that I was paying more for fees then I was selling. It is sad to say but I finally decided to shut down my store. -----------------...

Create Doll Clothes with me!

Back from the end of March through the end of May, I was only ordering fabric to pick up. A few weeks ago, I ventured into the fabric store with my mom again.  I ended up going to three stores in three days and purchased these 7 darling cotton girl prints. I had so much fun shopping! What would you make out of them?   Time will tell what my brain dreams up and if I have customer special requests. So---without further ado---here they are.  Went outside in our hot Chicago weather to photo them. Some dresses I have made for the girls. Isabella- Bubble Romper!

As the weather is warming up, I decided to do some research to see which styles have been selling the fastest on Amazon Handmade. What I discovered was that I had sold out of all my romper styles and all my hair ties.   For fun, I designed this new pattern. It features a pull on style (no velcro) with the darling halter style ties.  The hair tie wraps around the dolls head and ties on. ISABELLA - shorter version  I put elastic around the leg holes. I absolutely love the halter style back! I was in  and decided to make one a little longer by adding a ruffle to the leg.  Isabella - longer version This one gathers in at the leg right before the ruffle. Here they are side by side. Aren't they darling? Now, I am deciding whether to try a boy style bubble romper. Find me on ETSY Find me on Amazon Handmade Happy Memorial Day! Lynnette adorabledolldesigns
