Now that my kids grown, I have spent the past years creating costumes for my favorite dolls. What is more fun then dressing up your dolls? News...I have a new grandson due in 37 days! He will live 1200 miles from us. Many of you have Grandchildren who would love to receive something in the mail. Well, I created something just for your special grandchild. Whether you are looking for a spooky or cozy Halloween, these next two will help you celebrate. They are made out of flannel. Your doll will be covered from head to toe and the hoods have the cute ears on them! On Monday, I received a request for 12.5" doll clothes. They fit the dolls as shown including the Naptime Doll. The final part of the order was to make a selection of t-shirts, shorts, pants, and boy undies. It is DAY 3 and I am happy to say that I completed the project.   Yesterday, I made t shirts in red, black, orange, and white. I also made two length of black shorts and both black and green flannel pants. Today, I took my existing pattern and used my trusty scanner to reduce the pattern. The leg holes have to be a little large to fit over the CP's extra large chubby feet. Elastic was added to the waist.  Just under 3 work days and a photo shoot and I have a new collection. This weekend, I received several special orders. One of them was to make 3-4 Overalls for the Cabbage Patch Naptime Baby Boy Doll. I have 5 dolls and didn't plan to purchase every CP they make so did a search to find out what size the Naptime doll is. I found out that it is a 12.5" doll, the same height as my smallest Cabbage Patch Doll!  Since I didn't know the measurements of the Naptime doll, I decided to start by taking pictures of the dimensions of my doll. Hopefully, these measurements will help you also in seeing what clothes to purchase for the specific dolls you have. UPDATE!! 24 hours after this post, I discovered that I actually DID have the CP Naptime doll! He was one of my collection of 5 dolls. I now have two dolls that are considered 12.5" dolls. They appear to be the same body size but the Naptime doll has a larger head- top of head to bottom or chin. The chest, waist, and hips are pretty much the same size on this doll. I go...
