Time to play dress up! HALLOWEEN 2019

Every September, I look at what I sold last year and decide what I need to make again and what I want to try that I have never made before. I pull out my Halloween fabrics and start dreaming of my next projects. This year, I started sewing a little early once I had my Brown / Khaki  / Fall collection completed. Back to School- again!

As I write this, I am thinking how I have experienced the 'Back to School' season of life for the past 26 years- preschool, grade school, Junior High, High School.....then, my daughter started teaching school herself and there was another back to school season. Today, I went outside and experienced a perfect August afternoon and reflected on our family's new 'Back to School' season. My 29 year old, my oldest, is actually going back to school. She is going to get a second Bachelor's degree.....this time as a RDN.   Fall / Autumn / Harvest-----as soon as I get to July 28th, the pinks, lavenders, and florals go away and I pull out all my fall fabrics. Even though I personally like weather in the 80's better then the 50's, I look forward to sewing up all those new fabrics after months of making spring and summer and all things 'light'.
