Isabella- Bubble Romper!

As the weather is warming up, I decided to do some research to see which styles have been selling the fastest on Amazon Handmade. What I discovered was that I had sold out of all my romper styles and all my hair ties.   For fun, I designed this new pattern. It features a pull on style (no velcro) with the darling halter style ties.  The hair tie wraps around the dolls head and ties on. ISABELLA - shorter version  I put elastic around the leg holes. I absolutely love the halter style back! I was in  and decided to make one a little longer by adding a ruffle to the leg.  Isabella - longer version This one gathers in at the leg right before the ruffle. Here they are side by side. Aren't they darling? Now, I am deciding whether to try a boy style bubble romper. Find me on ETSY Find me on Amazon Handmade Happy Memorial Day! Lynnette adorabledolldesigns

Ebay / Etsy / Amazon Handmade

I started selling on Ebay on January 31,2002. The first thing I made was an embroidered patriotic star denim jacket. I wish I still had a picture of that! I decided that if it sold, I would list two more things. it sold right away! I started I was sewing two things for every one thing that I sold. Everything was handmade by me. Snowsuits were my top seller that year. Soon, I had an e-bay store. I was busy for many years. I started slowing down when I had to start saying "18 doll clothes" instead of using the brand of the doll that I was selling for. I believe that hurt my business because when people would search by brand name, they would not find me. The difficult thing was other people selling handmade clothes were still using the brand name (and still do) while I had my listings pulled. This year, things slowed down so much that I was paying more for fees then I was selling. It is sad to say but I finally decided to shut down my store. -----------------

Special order - Aprons to Pinafores- Cabbage Patch Doll Clothes

On Saturday, I received a request for a 'bib' apron. Since I can't send photo's on Amazon Handmade, I asked for an Amazon link to show me what she liked. My customer responded that the style she was looking for were LH on the Prairie aprons. I got started. I knew she wanted a ruffled bottom so first I made a tie waist apron in three sizes. I didn't have a pattern so had to figure this out. I wanted to get my measurements figured out before I made the more complicated 'bib' style. She wanted a bib that could be embroidered on so I made this style next.   I was trying to save time so got the idea instead of sewing my own ties to use bias tape for the ties. The second one, I made with a larger bib in case she wanted more room for embroidery. This style, I made with ribbon ties.   Ribbon ties should end up being less expensive for the customer because they shorten the sewing time. The third style was made wi
