This weekend, I received several special orders. One of them was to make 3-4 Overalls for the Cabbage Patch Naptime Baby Boy Doll. I have 5 dolls and didn't plan to purchase every CP they make so did a search to find out what size the Naptime doll is. I found out that it is a 12.5" doll, the same height as my smallest Cabbage Patch Doll! Since I didn't know the measurements of the Naptime doll, I decided to start by taking pictures of the dimensions of my doll. Hopefully, these measurements will help you also in seeing what clothes to purchase for the specific dolls you have.
UPDATE!! 24 hours after this post, I discovered that I actually DID have the CP Naptime doll! He was one of my collection of 5 dolls. I now have two dolls that are considered 12.5" dolls. They appear to be the same body size but the Naptime doll has a larger head- top of head to bottom or chin.
It takes a long time to make these with all the steps involved. I could have made 16 pairs of pants in the time I made these 3 overalls. It was a labor of love.

The chest, waist, and hips are pretty much the same size on this doll. I got 10 1/8".
The leg from center crotch. I see it as 4 1/4" to the ankle.
Widest part of leg- about 5 3/4".
Arm from underarm seam to wrist- around 3". On this one I didn't have the bottom of the tape right at the center seam. If it was there, It would be 3".
Widest part of hand, including thumb- 5".
Body length from neck seam to center crotch. I got about 5".
Widest part of her head- 14 1/4"
This doll has a longer head by about 1" from the top of his hair to the bottom of his chin.
Around neck- 8"
I reduced my existing 16" pattern by 78 percent.
16" shrunk to fit a 12.5" doll.
First, I took some grey faux suede (it is heavy fabric and pretty difficult to work with). I used it because I only had a little bit left of this.
After the grey was finished, I decided to make another one with a slightly larger leg. The grey fit but I wanted to try it larger. I spent all day on these three pairs- making a green flannel (those are angled up at the ankle)---and my final one was a navy blue heavy weight pair.

They would be easier to do out of a lightweight cotton, a cotton knit, sweatshirt fabric, or polar fleece (as long as I wasn't matching stripes on the side seams).
Yes! I have my overalls for the Naptime and other 12 1/2" dolls.
Now on to making some t shirts for these dolls.
